Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Follow-Up
• Process and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with internal procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, delivery timelines, invoice submission and discrepancies.
• Maintain proper records of all requisitions, POs, delivery notes, and invoices.
Finance Administration
• Perform bank reconciliations, including subscription payments received via Standing Orders.
• Assist with inter-group reconciliations and liaise with internal teams to resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain an updated supplier master file, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Support month-end processes, including preparation of schedules and reconciliation reports.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit and internal control compliance.
Operational Support
• Track and follow up outstanding invoices, payments, and approvals.
• Assist with preparation of finance reports and dashboards.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and the broader team.
• Contribute to strengthening internal controls and finance procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Academic & Professional
• ACCA Level 1 completed (or equivalent accounting certification) highly preferred.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting/finance/admin role.
Technical Skills
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas, reconciliation templates).
• Exposure to accounting systems or ERP is an added advantage.
• Good written and spoken English (French is a plus).
