Job Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer – Lifts & Escalators to drive the promotion and sale of our vertical transportation solutions. The role combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and client relationship management to deliver value-driven solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
- Build relationships with developers, consultants, and contractors
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline
Technical Sales
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals
Tendering & Negotiation
- Manage enquiries from initial contact to contract award
- Participate in technical and commercial negotiations
- Achieve sales targets and margin objectives
Project Coordination
- Ensure smooth handover to engineering and installation teams
- Follow up on project progress and maintain client communication
Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5–6 years of work experience; preference will be given to candidates possessing technical sales skills (lifts, escalators, or building services preferred)
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation & drawings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
