Job Title: Accounts Officer

Reports to: Group Finance Manager
Location: Coromandel
Job Summary:
The Accounts Officer will support the finance team in daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial documents, including invoices, bills, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process payments and ensure timely bank deposits.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and report any discrepancies.
- Support monthly and annual financial closings.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00
