Job Title: Trellidor Installer
Location: Grand Baie, Mauritius
Reporting to: Operations/Installation Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Trellidor Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and assembly of Trellidor products, while also supporting logistics and inventory management tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and customer-focused, with a willingness to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
- Travel to client sites across Mauritius to carry out installations.
- Install Trellidor security products accurately and securely according to company specifications.
- Measure and prepare designated areas for installation.
- Ensure all components are properly aligned and functioning.
Manufacturing (Trim Shop):
- Assemble Trellidor products using raw materials and machinery, based on specifications.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and client standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the trim shop.
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Identify and resolve faults in installed systems, including mechanical or structural issues.
- Replace any damaged or malfunctioning parts to restore proper functionality.
Logistics & Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure adequate stock of Trellidor components.
- Receive and verify deliveries against packing lists and delivery notes.
- Inspect all incoming items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Properly store all components and materials in the workshop.
Customer Service & General Duties:
- Deliver excellent service and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Engage with clients to understand their security needs and address any concerns.
- Complete and submit service and job completion reports accurately.
- Maintain professional standards in store presentation and visual merchandising.
- Stay up to date with Trellidor product updates, new technologies, and installation methods through training and product manuals.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the manufacturing and installation of aluminium or similar products.
- Possession of a valid manual drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Positive, proactive mindset with a commitment to learning and development.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
