SUMMARY
The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper operation of all pools at Azuri.
WORK RELATIONS
The Pool Attendant reports directly to the immediate Supervisor and the Service Manager. The role also requires active collaboration with Azuri team members, clients, and relevant service providers involved in pool operations and maintenance.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of all pools at Azuri.
- Test and balance pH levels and pool chemicals in both freshwater and saltwater pools.
- Conduct regular testing of swimming pool water quality and pH balance.
- Clean and service swimming pool filtration units.
- Maintain pool pumps, filters, and associated equipment.
- Clean and maintain the pool area, including decks and surroundings.
- Maintain all chlorinator cells and ballast tanks.
- Maintain and clean all equipment in the technical room.
- Immediately report any faults or required repairs to the Supervisor and Manager.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Safely transport and store hazardous chemicals.
- Operate and inspect tools and equipment, making minor adjustments and repairs when necessary.
- Use pool vacuum cleaners and brushes to clean pool floors.
- Use telescopic poles and nets to remove leaves and debris from pools.
- Maintain politeness and respect when working in clients yards.
- Always keep uniforms and equipment in good condition.
- Always wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when handling pool chemicals.
- Maintain pool sensors and ensure proper functionality.
- Record all meter readings from the pump room accurately on the designated sheets.
- Keep the pump room clean and tidy.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Good command of spoken English and French.
- Must always wear the Azuri Polo Shirt and/or designated uniform.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure or stress.
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude toward work and clients.
- Strict adherence to safety, hygiene standards, and procedures.
- Must be polite, respectful, and well-mannered toward colleagues, guests, and homeowners
