Junior Accounts Clerk as an entry-level position in the accounting department
Tasks List
- Enter daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payment)
- Entries on system
- Filling of documents as per instructions
- Records of transactions, wherever applicable
- Back up on incoming calls for queries from internal parties
- Match invoices with purchase orders and expenses reports
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Record incoming payments (cash, bank transfers, cheques)
- Follow up on overdue accounts and send reminders
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Handle petty cash and reimbursements
- Assist officers in accounting tasks, wherever applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- School Certificate/Higher School Certificate
- Computer Literate
