About
I am an experienced pharmacy technician with over 20 years of working within the healthcare sector. In my most recent role, I managed a team of administrators and the day to day running of the homecare department within the pharmacy.
My role was mainly looking after SLAs, looking at company accounts, resolving complex issues whilst liaising with the multidisciplinary teams and patients. I also trained staff and carry out appraisals. When help was needed, I would assist with generating orders by processing prescriptions, clearing invoices and deal with email queries.
Part of my role as a technician was also to dispense medication and counsel patients when needed. I was also an accredited final checker, so I could check dispensed medication and release them.
I maintained a good rapport with my fellow colleagues within the pharmacy and outside.
I always try to exceed expectations and give the best service I can, whether it’s for my colleagues or patients/relatives.
I consistently work according to set policies and SOPs set in the workplace and ensure that the staff I train, do so too.
