About

Motivated and enthusiastic HSC graduate of St Mary's West College with a keen
interest in pursuing a career in the IT field. During my work placement at the
Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE), i spent 10 weeks in the Centre for Open
and Distance Learning (CODL) department as well as the IT department, actively
contributing to a project focused on the creation of educational resources.
Utilizing software tools such as Scratch, Kotobee Reader, and Audacity, I
developed engaging educational mini-games and performed edits to e-books.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to observe and familiarize myself with library
operations at MIE, gaining insights into the library system and acquiring skills in
monitoring lending delays and completing data entry tasks. Eager to apply my
knowledge and skills in a dynamic IT environment.
