Job Summary:

The Accounts Supervisor will ensure the accurate processing of all financial transactions, timely preparation of management accounts, and adherence to accounting procedures. This role also involves monitoring debtors, updating assets, conducting reconciliations, and overseeing timely payments and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Process all financial transactions in the accounting software, ensuring correct department and general ledger (GL) coding.
Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely collections.
Ensure all monthly returns are completed within set deadlines.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Update asset records monthly, conduct annual physical asset verification, and tag new fixed assets.
Prepare monthly expense schedules as per established formats.
Reconcile supplier statements monthly and prepare timely payments.
Manage daily banking activities.
Ensure timely processing of financial receipts.
Provide backup support for accountants during leaves.
Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Location: Pailles

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.

Qualifications and Experience:

HSC with Accounting or Degree in Accounting/Finance, or ACCA Level 2.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
