Job Overview:
The Junior Sales Analyst will independently manage all sales activities, handling client and supplier relationships, and driving business growth through data analysis and strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both English and French. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Junior Sales Analyst will play a critical role in sales performance optimization and executing deals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Deals: Independently manage sales activities, including deal execution and closing with clients and suppliers.
- Sales Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze sales data to evaluate overall performance, identify trends, and forecast future sales opportunities.
- Duty-Free Price Mechanisms: Assist in evaluating and setting pricing strategies for duty-free products, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing models.
- Liaise with Clients and Suppliers: Communicate with clients and suppliers regarding peak and off-peak seasons to optimize stock management and sales strategies.
- Analytical Thinking: Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights to enhance sales strategies and decision-making.
- Sales Statistics: Track and evaluate key sales statistics, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management, highlighting key metrics, variances, and actionable insights.
- Market Research: Conduct market and competitor analysis to assess potential sales opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Sales Forecasting: Forecast future sales trends based on historical data, market conditions, and industry forecasts.
- Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken): Ensure effective communication across all platforms and reports, handling both languages with proficiency.
- Assist in Budgeting: Support planning and monitoring of sales budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Pastel System is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis is an advantage.
