1. Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and
specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnels performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Organising team members properly for a better overall performance on site.
Ensuring works are completed prior in the fastest way possible before the deadlines.
Preparing effective planning of works.
Carrying out a verification of the works completed while assessing them and performing any
corrective action before the submission of projects.
Maintaining a timely update of all the officially required paper-works such as; Daily Cash-flow,
Delivery Notes and others.
Communicating with the management regarding day-to-day works progress on site.
Planning and ordering of materials with the procurement department before the start of a
work on site.
Ensuring that there is no wastage of materials.
Assisting the storekeeper with the inventory of tool box each month.
Ensuring a proper communication with superiors and clients.
Carrying out cleaning works on site or at the workshop before leaving after work or during the
day.
Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance and forward it to the
concerned person.
Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as
needed.
Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget
specifications.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Responding to all phone calls and messages from the clients on time.
Ensuring a very high standard of finish for every works.
2. Requirements
A diploma/degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior experience in the construction and metalwork field will be an advantage.
Team management experiences will be an advantage.
Valid driving license.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work overtime and drop off team members with the support of logistic team.
3. Working Hours
Monday to Friday : 06.45 a.m. to 04.45 p.m.
Saturday : 06.45 a.m. to 01.45 p.m.
The working hours include 1 hour; 2 breaks of 10 minutes each and lunch time of 40 minutes (except
on Saturday Lunch time is 30 minutes).
