Job Title: Casual Porter/Driver
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Porter/Driver. In this role, you will assist guests with luggage, provide transportation services, and offer front desk support to ensure the smooth functioning of our hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with the handling of their luggage upon arrival and departure. This includes loading and unloading luggage from vehicles, transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, and ensuring proper storage and security.
- Transportation Services: Provide transportation services to guests, including airport transfers, local area transportation, and shuttle services. Safely operate hotel vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic rules and regulations.
- Front Desk Support: Offer support to the front desk team by performing various tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing general information to guests. Assist with check-ins and check-outs when needed.
- Guest Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs, concerns, and inquiries. Offer assistance with directions, recommendations for local attractions, and other related services to enhance their overall stay experience.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel entrance, lobby, and transportation vehicles. Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Safety and Security: Adhere to all safety and security procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and maintaining a safe working environment. Follow proper protocols for handling guest belongings and personal information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle heavy luggage and perform physical tasks as required.
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation networks is desirable.
- Availability to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays as required.
