The main responsibilities of the Trainee Reservation Officer responds to reservation requests from guests and tour operators made through various communication platforms. She ensures that reservation hotlines are attended to at all times to meet daily business needs, and is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining reservation records promptly in accordance with guests' booking confirmations.
-Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of places to visit.
-Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements.
-Checking the availability of LAuberge or Bubble Lodge customers desired date to stay.
-Selling and promoting reservation services.
-Answering any questions customers might have on social media platforms about the reservation process.
-Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets.
-Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
-Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including blog posts and social media content.
-Work with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns.
-Good communication skill both written and spoken
-Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
-Basic understanding of databases
