Job Description: Senior Sous Chef - Italian Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef with expertise in traditional regional Italian cuisine, as well as creative and modern Italian culinary techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of international health and food safety standards, including HACCP/ISO, and must be computer literate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef in menu planning and development, focusing on Italian cuisine.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes that showcase the flavors and techniques of traditional regional Italian cooking, as well as innovative and modern Italian cuisine.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes comply with international health and food safety standards, including HACCP/ISO.
- Supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, high-quality output, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Italian culinary techniques.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with the development of new recipes and menu items to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and control costs without compromising quality.
Requirements:
