The (non-exhaustive) list of duties for this role would cover at a minimum:
(i) Assist with the transfer process for all work coming to the Company from other fiduciaries in and outside Mauritius, including conducting file reviews
(ii) Assist with the new business process for all new work being established by the Company, including assistance with the completion of relevant application forms as required by the Company or the authorities
(iii) Initiate contact with all potential new clients (PNCs) and provide a complete list of documents and information required for either set up or transfer in of an entity
(iv) Monitoring the collation of all documentation and information relating to PNCs, responding to queries of PNCs, and providing regular updates on the take-on process to the client
(v) Set up new client files and records physical and electronic
(vi) Arranging for the relevant document filing with the local authorities in Mauritius, or elsewhere, for new setups and attending to any queries
(vii) Liaising with registered agents in overseas jurisdictions for setting up of International Business Companies or other foreign entities
(viii) Arranging for tax and/or legal advice where required
(ix) Preparation for and attendance at client meetings as required
(x) Opening of bank and investment accounts
(xi) Correspond and liaise with clients on the matters mentioned above
(xii) Ensure delivery of high-quality service to all intermediaries and clients, working closely with the client executive (s) and/or manager(s) and director(s)
(xiii) Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines, including internal policies and procedures, and submission deadlines
(xiv) Ensure a high standard, timely delivery of client commitments based on agreed-upon deadlines
(xv) Demonstrate good client service against the needs and demands of high-net-worth clients
(xvi) Any other function that may be relevant for this appointment
