They are responsible for ensuring products are shelved properly in terms of access and visibility. In addition, a Store Clerk must be available at all times within the store to respond to any queries or concerns. A Store Clerk is also responsible for ensuring the store is clean and that the overall look of the store is well-maintained.
-Greet customers, answer their queries, and assist them when selecting
and finding merchandise.
-Monitor those in the store to help ensure loss prevention.
-Properly display all store products and place them in an organized manner
so that customers can find them easily.
-Perform the checkout process and conduct all transactions and duties related to billing and payment at the store counter.
-Have the ability and knowledge to answer customer questions related to information, including availability of products.
-Maintain the overall look of the store and ensure that it is clean, restocked, and properly organized.......
-Maintain product records and inventory, and ensure that the process of re-ordering is smooth.
-Be involved in planning and preparation of displays, trade shows, windows,
and seasonal promotions.
