Overview
Our client is looking for a Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis, compliance, risk management, internal control and reporting. He/She will also be responsible for financial reporting to management, as well as compliance with government regulations.
Key responsibility
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Developing plans for financial growthcontrols and efficiencies.
Evaluating and managing risk.
Coordinating audit processes.
Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets,
and cash flow statements
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
Forecasting future financial performance
Participating in budgeting processes.
Providing accurate financial reports and variance analysis to management
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Qualification
Qualified Accountant
Proven experience in finance management.
Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
Auditing experience.
Compliance oriented.
Proficiency in accounting software.
At least 5 years working experience in this position
Knowledge of logistics industry will be a proven advantage
International exposure will be an advantage
