The Cloud Engineer that our client is searching for will play a crucial role in the Cloud Infrastructure. A person who will assist the team in completing a variety of cloud-related tasks and who will actively collaborate with the team to assure the repeatability, stability, resilience, and scale of all public and private cloud services.
Key responsibility
- Be responsible for planning, implementing, and growing the production services on AWS.
- Maintaining cloud components to maximize their uptime and performance and minimize their cost.
- Work alongside the architecture and engineering team to design and implement a scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure all components have adequate monitoring and logging to prevent outages.
- Recommend process and architecture improvements.
- Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platforms and services.
- You will be part of the cloud infra team to support Tier 1-2 provisioning tasks.
Qualification
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year work experience in Cloud engineering or IT related fields.
- Have B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field is a plus.
- Working understanding of cloud networking components and their uses in AWS.
- Experience designing and building web environments on AWS. Includes working with services like EC2, ELB, and S3.
- A solid background in Network system administration, which includes working with Application load balancer terminology.
- An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code, using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience managing configurations on F5 BIGIP load balancer would be a plus.
- AWS Certifications desired.
