Job Purpose:
As a Bar Maitre, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bar operations, including overseeing the staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar. You will work closely with the management team to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while also ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key duties :
- Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bar.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, ensuring their satisfaction with the service and products.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including promotions and special events.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve the overall bar operations.
- Keep track of sales and expenses, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Create, propose elaborate cocktails.
Qualifications and Skills:
- School diploma or equivalent in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
