Job Title: Administrative Officer
Main Job Purpose: To support the branch functioning through managing all related
administrative processes for Mauritius.
Reporting Line: Country Manager
Work relationships: works closely with team of Managers
1. Your duties and responsibilities include:

Human Resources:
• Compile payroll data for site personnel and calculate NPS/NPF return.
• Responsible for all procedures related to Expats workers (e.g. work permits, medical
clearance, etc.)
• Maintain HR statistics (eg. Leaves record / headcount / Man hours count)
• Ensure H & S compliance with OHSA and organisation policies for a safe working
environment

Secretarial Duties
• Perform secretarial duties: Plan appointments / Sort incoming mail / Handle
incoming calls, emails, etcc / typing, photocopying, faxing and filing / Welcome and
provide assistance to visitors.
• Organise all travel requirements upon request (flights, visas, accommodation, etc.)
• To devise and maintain office communication systems, including data office
management and filing.

Administrative Duties
• Effectively deal with accident insurance claims and medical claims up to final step.
• Ensures timely renewals of all licenses / insurances (company, motor vehicles, etc.).
Support to Accounting
• Accounting support: Input data for Vat control in system/ monthly Plant invoicing
Raise Purchase orders and send to suppliers/ Manage Petty cash
• Effectively deal with all import and export procedures.
• Procurement support: Carry Out all procurement for Branch office & monitor office
supplies stock

 Your Profile:
Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Diploma or any qualification in a related field acceptable to the organisation.

• Excellent know-how of MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of laws related to H R (eg. Workers’ Rights Act 2019 / OHSA etc..)
• Knowledge of Accounts and financial principles

Experience
• 2 years’ experience in Accounting
• Extensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures, legislation

Your Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills and committed to build good work relationship & team spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and French
• Can be relied upon and is ready to work overtime if necessary
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Proactive and able to find solutions to problems.

Salary Range: Rs 20,000 – Rs 30,000
• Salary is commensurate to experience/qualifications/skills
